Research that stays open, citable and free to build on.

Al-Jabir Journal publishes original research, review articles and methodological work across the sciences, engineering and the humanities, with a particular welcome for scholarship from emerging research communities that too often go unheard.

Every submission goes through double-blind peer review, and every accepted article is published open access under a Creative Commons licence with a registered DOI.

More about Al-Jabir
  • Crossref Member

Every article receives a registered DOI, making it permanently citable and discoverable.

  • Double-Blind Peer Review

Each submission is assessed by at least two independent reviewers in the relevant field.

A review process authors can actually follow.

Manuscripts are screened within five working days, then sent to at least two independent reviewers who never learn the authors’ identities, and vice versa. First decisions average 3-4 weeks.

Every stage is visible from your Open Journal Systems dashboard, so you never have to email an editor to ask where a manuscript stands.

Reviewed by people who publish in the field.

Our editors handle submissions in their own areas of expertise and declare conflicts of interest before any manuscript is assigned. Click any profile to view full qualifications and research.
